One of the great mysteries of Heaven is this: that God, the Creator of all things, has come to be among His own, and like the pillar of fire that led the children of Israel throughout the wilderness, He dwells among His own. Not among nations, but within His people! The spirit of God, promised by God the Son and God the Father, dwells within each soul that will have Him. He is the best friend, the closest companion, and the deepest lover. He is closer than our own skin. Oh Father, I long to let your Spirit come dwell with me as you desire. I know I am unfulfilled without full communion with you.
Psalm 51:11, “Do not cast me away from Your Presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.”
John 14:16-17 & 23, “I will the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever, that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him…If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.”
