QUESTIONS
- What is a disciple? How do you make a disciple? What did Jesus say about this in Matthew 4:19? In what ways have we depended more on systems than on the Spirit’s help? How do you know if you are growing as a disciple?
- In what ways do we enjoy gathering over going? Why is there a tendency for the church to huddle and become comfortable and critical? How have you “huddled” more than “gone?” How has “going” been part of your growth as a follower of Jesus?
- In what ways have you rejected submission to joining the Great Commission to pursue your own mission? Where have you found yourself asking Him to bless your mission? What does repentance in this look like? Where do you sense that God is leading you to “go?” How can your community group join you or help you to “go?”
- Following Jesus means saying, “anything, anywhere, anytime.” What frightens you most about that? What is most exciting about following Jesus?
