• Self seeks a power source other than God. Why are possessions an enticing power source for us?  What have you experienced possessions promising to you that only God can actually provide?
• Proverbs 11:24: “The more we consume, the more we crave.” Where do you see this pattern most clearly in our culture? In yourself? How does the Gospel reverse the growth of greed?
• What is the difference between possessing something and being possessed by it? How can you tell when something we own has begun to own us?
• How does remembering God’s generosity change our relationship with possessions? How might God want to use the things He has entrusted to you to advance His kingdom?
