Student Led + Leader Fed

Student Led:

We desire to be a place where students participate in the mission of Jesus themselves through exploring and exercising their unique gifts given to them by the Spirit of God to build up the body of Christ and make disciples!

Leader Fed:

NextGen is a small group focused ministry! The primary vehicle in the discipleship of the students will be through the relationship with their small group leader & group.

We desire to cultivate an environment where students are:

Engaged in deep discipleship relationships with adult leaders and other students
Educated on the reality of Jesus, His love for them, and the life He invites us to live for Him
Encouraged to take the best next steps in their walks with Jesus
Equipped to learn & grow in their unique giftings to serve Jesus & His mission
Empowered to live boldly for Jesus as they leave High School & navigate life in the world as His followers

Wednesday Night Experience

NextGen strives to advance the Gospel through student ministry by encouraging students to disciple other students. We desire to be a place where students belong to a community of believers and are challenged in their faith to take the next steps in their walk with Jesus. We meet every Wednesday in Hillside’s Multipurpose Building from 6:15-8:15p, with middle school and high school students meeting separately. Any student who joins us can expect an authentic atmosphere in which connection with Jesus and each other is at the center. The evenings consist of food, live worship, teaching, engaging small groups, and LOTS of fun and games!

Your baptism is a very important step of faith and obedience in your walk with the Lord. We are thankful for the privilege to minister to your student on this important day. If your child is interested in being baptized, please fill out the Baptism Request form. Once completed, our baptism coordinator will contact you to schedule a time for you to meet with one of our pastors.
