FAQ About Our New Service Times

1. Why are our service times changing?
As more people come to Hillside, we want to make room for everyone to hear the gospel and feel welcomed. Launching a 4th service allows us to serve more people, bringing more into deeper relationship with Jesus.

2. Do I need to choose a new service time?
Yes. Since all weekend services are shifting, everyone will need to pick the time that works best for them. We know change can feel big, but we’re excited to walk this through together and trust God is at work.

3. Will Kids Ministry be available at every service?
Yes. Kids Ministry will be provided at all services. No matter which gathering you choose, your children will be welcomed and cared for in a safe, engaging environment where they can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.

4. Will anything about the Saturday service change?
Our Saturday evening service has been a meaningful part of our rhythm for quite some time, and we are excited to keep it going just as you know it and love it. And yes, the pizza is here to stay! We will continue gathering afterward to share a meal, laugh together, and enjoy an easygoing space to build friendships and deepen our fellowship. We cannot wait to spend that time with you.

5. How can I support this transition?
Pray with us, welcome those visiting, and consider inviting a friend who now has a time that works for them. If God leads you to serve, we’d love to help you get connected. Every act of love and faithfulness helps more people encounter Jesus and experience the warmth of the Hillside family. Text HILLSIDESERVE to 55444 to express interest in serving.

6. Will adding another service affect our closeness and sense of community?
We are grateful you care about community, because we do too. One of the things we love about Hillside is how people genuinely know and care for one another. Adding a service actually gives us more room to do that well. It helps us stay welcoming, create more space for meaningful connection, and continue caring personally for the people Jesus is bringing. We truly believe we can grow while still keeping the family feel that makes Hillside home.

7. What does this mean for serving?
Your time and your heart matter to us, and we do not want anyone serving from a place of exhaustion. We believe Jesus is opening a door for more people to encounter Him, and we want to walk with you in finding a healthy and sustainable rhythm of serving. If you are able to serve, we would love to help you find a place that brings joy and life, not burnout. And if this is a season where you need to rest, we understand and are grateful you are here.
