QUESTIONS:

  1. (Luke 2:1-5) Problems don’t prevent His plans, problems are the pathway through which we experience His promises, provision, and plans. Has God ever used problems to direct your path? How does this impact how you view current problems you are encountering?

  2. (Luke 2:6-7) Jesus was despised and rejected, a man of sorrow, acquainted with grief. Where are you carrying grief and sorrow? How can you give that grief to the only One who truly understands it because He lived it?

  3. (Luke 2:8-9) The announcement of the greatest event in human history comes to a group of nobodies. What does this teach us about the character of God? How comfortable are you with being a nobody?

  4. (Luke 2:10-14) The announcement of a Savior is only good news when you know you've sinned and admit you need a Savior. Where do you struggle to admit you need a Savior? How are you trying to prove you're great and don’t need a Savior?

  5. (Luke 2:15-20) God loves to use ordinary people in ordinary places to tell everyone about the extraordinary One who changes everything. Where is your ordinary place to share about the extraordinary One?
