Hard to Believe

1. Why do humans avoid thinking about hard things like death? What emotions arise when you think about death? (Hebrews 9:27)
2. In what ways have you tried to avoid or minimize hard realities in your life? How does the Bible's laser-like focus on death challenge or unsettle you?
3. If God has given proof through the resurrection, why can belief still feel difficult?  Do you think it was easier for the disciples? (Mark 16:9-13)
4. How would your life change if you fully lived as though the resurrection were true? (John 11:25)
