Flood Relief Efforts
As a church, we are grieved over the devastating impact of the recent flood in the Texas Hill Country. This tragedy has brought tremendous heartache, loss, and suffering to our neighbors and as the body of Christ, we mourn with them in their distress. In the midst of this incredible trial, we pray that the God of all comfort will comfort and support them and that they will find lasting peace in and through Jesus Christ. At times like this, we are also moved by Jesus’ love and compassion to help and care for those who are hurting. Our love for God is to flow out in love for our neighbors and this is certainly a time for such love.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all out affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 (NASB)
Ways to Donate
Hillside is not collecting donations at this time but will consider it as on-the-ground needs are assessed. We want to meaningfully contribute to the lives of those who are in need and so we are waiting to determine what that might include.
Give
Though financial donations will be an important part of the long-term relief efforts, Hillside would invite you to consider waiting on these gifts until:Clear needs are identified A plan is established for how to deploy those finances. As with the donation of supplies, we want to ensure that we are stewarding our resources well and that we can direct them in a way that truly impacts and serves others.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ.Philippians 4:7 (NASB)
