QUESTIONS:

1. How does Jesus’ declaration of His authority impact how you view His instructions in the great commission? (Matthew 28:18)
2. Where have you been writing your own story and asking Him to bless it? What is on your list that you believe will fulfill you? How has this list distracted you from the great commission?
3. What does it mean to “make disciples?” How is this different from simply converting people to Christianity? Do you feel adequate to make disciples?
4. How do the helping verbs in Matthew 28:19-20 (going, baptizing, and teaching) work together in spiritual growth and development? Do you see yourself as an everyday missionary in everyday places?
