QUESTIONS:

1. God gives us many opportunities to practice submission (Ephesians 6:1; Colossians 3:22; 1 Peter 3:1; Hebrews 13:17; Romans 13:1; 1 Peter 2:13). Why do you think God gives us so much practice in submitting?
2. How is authority and submission to authority a good gift to prepare us for the day we meet Him?
3. Where has He given you authority? Where has He called you to submit? What is your heart's posture toward authority? What is your heart's posture toward submission?
4. Where do you struggle the most with submission? How does Jesus' model give you grace and help you grow in submission? (Philippians 2:8)
