QUESTIONS:

1. Has there ever been a time when you believed God’s love for you was contingent on your performance? What was the result of performance-based faith? How has the Gospel been setting you free from performance-based Christianity?

2. (Galatians 3:1-5) The Spirit of God is given freely to all those who put their faith in Jesus. What do the Scriptures say the Spirit of God does for us? (Acts 1:8; John 16:7; 1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 5:3-5; Romans 15:13)

3. (Galatians 3:6-9) How do you view the Scriptures? Have you ever felt like they were a burden? Boring? How does the Gospel change our perspective of the Scriptures to see them more like a love note from our Father?
