Notes Outline

  • Plan (Ephesians 1:9-10)
  • Point (Ephesians 1:10)
  • Purpose (Ephesians 1:11-14)

  1. (Ephesians 1:9-10) God has a plan and is carrying out His plan. Have you ever struggled with understanding His plan? How does His command for us to love (John 13:34) simplify His plan? Who has He called you to love today?
  2. (Ephesians 1:10) God has a point. He is going to sum all things up in Jesus, the Hero of all of History. Where do you struggle with the appearance of evil winning in this world? Why is difficulty necessary for delight? Where in your life are you facing difficulty that you are trusting Jesus to turn into delight?
  3. (Ephesians 1:11-14) God has a purpose for all things. How has God used trials to make you more tender? Struggle to make you stronger? What struggle are you facing now that you can trust Him to use for His glory and your good?
