1. What stuck out to you from today’s passage?

2. What are some of the ways that you have believed the lie that “my sin impacts only me”?

3. The depravity of humanity is on display in chapter 34, and God’s name is noticeably absent in the chapter. In what ways have you experienced a chapter in your life that God is not mentioned or seems missing? How did your walk or faith grow in and through that time?

4. Jacob’s leadership is questionable at best in chapter 34, what lessons can you observe from his life that Jesus might want to grow in you?

5. As Jacob repents in chapter 35 and discards the hidden idols in his family they then make their way to El-Bethel (God, God’s house ). Why are idols such a hindrance to our relationship with Jesus? How has removing idols in your walk with Jesus been part of your growth in following Jesus?
