1. What stuck out to you from today’s passage? What did you learn about the Gospel?

2. Our culture tends to miss the mattering things that last forever while pursuing the meaningless things that quickly fade away. Where do you tend to miss the mattering things most often? What are the mattering things to you?

3. (Genesis 12-25) God doesn't seem to be in a hurry, He grows things. He seems to enjoy the process as well as the end product. Where do you find yourself being impatient or even frustrated with the speed at which God operates? What would it look like to memorize Psalm 46:10 and grow in patience and anticipation?

4. (Genesis 24) Genesis 24 is the longest chapter in Genesis. It is about selecting a spouse and building a strong nation by building a strong home. Do you find yourself focusing on changing things outside of your hula hoop? Why do you think we focus on things outside of our hula hoop rather than meeting Jesus inside our hula hoop and allowing Him to change us?
