John: Jesus is God - Behold the Lamb

QUESTIONS:

1. What stood out most from the passage?

2. (John 12:12-19) It is clear that the people had high expectations of what Jesus would do for them. What expectations do you have of following Jesus? What are some of the expectations you have of Him for marriage? Family? Kids? Work? Retirement?

3. They expected a lion, but got a lamb. What happened when Jesus failed to meet their expectations (John 19:15)? Has Jesus ever failed to meet your expectations? What was your response?

4. (John 12:19-26) Jesus shows us that greatness is available to all of us. Greatness is the willingness to lay down our lives, die to self, and serve others. What are some ways that you can follow Jesus and lay your life down today with your family? Coworkers? Community?
