John: Jesus is God - Hell

1. What stood out to you the most from this morning's passage?

2. (John 19:28) Where did Jesus find such poise, peace, and patience in His suffering? Why does it matter that His perspective was informed solely by the Scriptures? What is your perspective informed by?

3. (John 19:28) How have you been impacted by the doctrine of hell? How do you respond to people who say they cannot believe in a God who would send people to hell? How does it impact you that Jesus endured hell so that sinners might enjoy heaven?

4. (John 19:29-30) Jesus said, “It is finished!” Where are you trying to finish the work that Jesus already accomplished? Where do you hold onto unforgiveness? Bitterness and resentment? How can you apply the finished work of Jesus today and celebrate Him?
