QUESTIONS:

1. What stood out to you the most from this morning's passage?

2. (John 14:1) Jesus said, ‘Let not your hearts be troubled.’ How aware are you of what is going on inside of you? What are the signs that your heart is troubled? Where do you tend to numb the trouble instead of naming the trouble?

3. (John 14:1) Jesus said, ‘Believe in Me.’ When things fall apart, what do you believe and tell yourself about God? Yourself? Others?

4. (John 14:2-11) Jesus gives truth for times of trouble to help our hearts.

   A) v2. Have you ever felt out of place? Like there is no place you belong? How does it help your heart to know He has prepared a place for you?
   B) v3. Do you ever experience hopelessness, feeling like our world is spinning out of control? How does it help calm your heart to know Jesus is coming back for you?
   C) v4-11. Do you ever experience feelings of helplessness, knowing that you don’t have the power to fix the wreckage and evil in the world? How does it help calm your heart to know that God is moving all of history toward a perfect end?
