QUESTIONS:

1. What stood out to you the most from this morning's passage?

2. God didn’t create us to get anything, but to give everything. How does our view of God impact how we approach Him? Do you believe God needs something from you? How does presenting a needy, greedy God to the world twist the Gospel? (Psalm 19:11)

3. (John 17:1) Jesus saw the cross as a thing of glory, a place where we could see the measure of God’s love. Why is it glorious to give up your glory so that another might be glorified? Why is it beautiful to give up your beauty so that others might be made beautiful? Where can you give up your glory and beauty today?

4. (John 17:13-21) God’s love for us as demonstrated in His Son Jesus has the power to transform us. Where do you struggle to accept His love for you? Where has your heart been reluctant to receive His love? How can you receive and rejoice in His love for you today?
