John: Jesus is God - Hate

QUESTIONS:

1. What stood out to you the most from this morning's passage?

2. (John 15:18) Jesus promises us that we will be hated. What do you choose to be hated for? How do you respond to being hated? How did Jesus respond? (1 Peter 2:22-23)

3. (John 15:19-24) The world will hate you because it cannot have you. How does hatred from the world help us hold onto Jesus more fully? How is hatred from the world used by Jesus to expose and strengthen us? (Romans 5:3-4; James 1:1-3)

4. (John 15:26-27) We are witnesses to Jesus’ deity when we suffer patiently and purposefully. What comes out of us is to show the supernatural God who lives in us. What comes out of you when you suffer? What is one step you can take to invite Jesus into this and help grow you? (1 Peter 2:19-24)
