2. Joy is serious business. You were made for joy. What do you believe will give you joy? (Psalms 16:11; John 15:11; Galatians 5:22-23)

3. Because of sin, joy runs out. Where has joy run out in your life? Where do you go when joy runs out? What are some joy substitutes you’ve created to help you cope with diminishing joy? (Jeremiah 2:13)

4. Joy comes from Jesus. Happiness comes from holiness. How does diminishing joy teach us about distance from the joy giver? How can you repent today and draw near to the joy giver? (Psalms 16:11; John 15:11; Galatians 5:22-23)
