QUESTIONS:

1. Jesus welcomed anyone who’d come to follow Him. What prevents you from feeling like you belong in His kingdom?
2. According to verses 9-10, why do you think Jesus spoke in parables? How is this actually a loving thing for Him to do?
3. Where do you sense sin and satan at work to devour your heart so you will not delight in Jesus?
4. Where is your heart divided in its desires? How can you remove these idols this week and redelight in Jesus?
5. What is distracting your heart from delighting in Jesus? Why do you think that thing is distracting you and what steps could you take to remove it and redelight in Jesus?
6. The delighted heart receives God's word, shines His light. How can you cultivate a heart that delights in Jesus & shines His light this week?
