Luke: Follow Jesus - Error in Initial Conditions

QUESTIONS:

1. (Luke 11:29) When life feels uncertain, what kinds of ‘signs’ do you find yourself asking God for? What might shift in your walk with Jesus if you stopped waiting for more evidence and started trusting Him with what He’s already shown you?
2. (Luke 11:30) When have you found it hard to believe that Jesus’ resurrection is enough to give you hope and courage? How does the resurrection speak to your personal doubts and fears you face?
3. (Luke 11:31-32) Jesus points to outsiders (Queen of the South, Men of Nineveh) as examples of faith. How does this challenge you to see God working in people you might least expect? In what ways might your life today serve as a testimony- pointing people toward or away from Jesus?
4. (Luke 11:33-36) What are some ways you've been tempted to filter God’s truth so it fits what you already want to believe? What are some ways you've experienced the ‘denaturing’ and distorting effects of sin?
