QUESTIONS:

1. (Luke 7:18-20) How do you typically respond when Jesus doesn't meet your expectations? Can you think of a time when He gave you something better than what you expected? What do you do with your disappointments and doubts?
2. (Luke 7:21-23) What unique assignment does He have for you currently? What does it look like for you to run your play for the day? How does knowing that others have different assignments help you avoid comparison and criticism?
3. (Luke 7:24-34) Where do you live for the approval of others? What would it look like to let Jesus define you today? Where do you struggle with grumbling and complaining? What can you give thanks for today
4. (Luke 7:35) Truth always plays out over time. Where do you need patience to wait for truth to be vindicated?
