Luke: Follow Jesus-The Dumbest Argument Ever

• Selfish (Luke 22:23-25)
• Selfless (Luke 22:26-27)
• Secure (Luke 22:28-30)

QUESTIONS:

1. When you think of greatness, what comes to mind? How do you define greatness? 
2. (Luke 22:23-25) Sin moves from competition to comparison to conceit as the disciples consumed each other. Where does selfishness most commonly show up in your life right now? What are some signs that you’re becoming more selfish than selfless?
3. (Luke 22:26-27) Jesus tells us that true greatness is found in humbly serving others. Growing up, what messages did you receive about what it takes to be important, successful, or great? How have those messages shaped you?  
4. (Luke 22:28-30) Jesus gives His disciples praise (you stood by Me.) and promise (I give to you a kingdom). Why is security in Christ necessary for becoming a servant to others? What promises from Jesus help you feel seen, secure and free from proving your worth to others?
