QUESTIONS:

1. (Luke 12:49-53) - Refine - Where do you sense Jesus is refining you currently in your life? What does it look like to receive His refining instead of resisting it? (1 Peter 4:12-13; James 1:2-3)
2. (Luke 12:54-56) - Remind - What are some of the “weather patterns” in your life that distract you from what matters eternally? How can we help one another stay focused on what Jesus is doing rather than what the world is doing? (Hebrews 3:13)
3. (Luke 12:57-59) - Reconcile - How does it impact your view of God to realize that He offers grace not condemnation when we “plead guilty”? Where do you tend to seek to justify yourself rather than confessing and receiving grace? (2 Corinthians 5:21)
4. (Luke 13:1-5) - Repent - What makes repentance difficult for you- fear, pride, shame? How has God used repentance to bring freedom or deeper intimacy with Him in the past?
5. (Luke 13:6-9) - Revive - Where do you sense Jesus “digging around your roots” currently- stirring up something uncomfortable but necessary?
