Luke: Focus on Jesus - I Think I'm a Christian...

OUTLINE:

• Recognition (Luke 8:40-43)
• Reroute (Luke 8:41, 44)

• Remain (Luke 8:49-56)

QUESTIONS:

1. (Luke 8:40-43) In what area of life have you come to an end of your own resources? Where do you go when your resources run out? What does this show you about what your faith is in?
2. (Luke 8:41, 44) Just as plants grow toward the light, we grow toward that which we believe will give us life.  What are you growing toward? What does that tell you about where your faith is?
3. (Luke 8:43-48) Wounds we carry can often trip a breaker in our life, disconnecting us from the source of healing and hope. What wound has ‘tripped a breaker’ in your life and disconnected you from Jesus? Jesus calls the woman, “Daughter”. What new name and new identity do you need to be reminded of today?
4. (Luke 8:49-56) Has there been a time in your walk with Jesus that you were tempted to give up? How did Jesus show up and help you grow up through your pain?
